About

In our present world, the local church or para-church youth pastor/worker is underconstant challenges, stringent schedules and high expectations that can produce burnout and stress. Current statistics show that youth workers are resigning from churches on a national average of every 18-21 months.  As one recent study shows youth workers on average are leaving youth ministry all together after only 7.8 years!*  Just when our youth need the stability of their youth minister - he or she is gone!  This trend cannot continue! Although their reasons for leaving are varied and often beyond their control, this is ultimately a spiritual battle that greatly affects the lives of our youth!

One major factor indicated includes the “need for a better support system”.  Youth Link Ministries has a passion to minister to the minister’s spiritual and emotional health and to promote longevity in this vital area of ministry.  We desire to link local youth ministers together and provide support to “sharpen one another” through prayer and encouragement.  Youth Link also seeks to provide a variety of resources to give youth workers strength to continue “to be a minister of Christ Jesus with the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God” to our youth. (Romans 15:16a)
